Brief summary
The Network Operation Center (NOC) is an independent organizational unit of the University of Athens, with the purpose of providing IT and communication services to members of the academic community, staff and students.
NOC supports more than 80,000 members of the academic community, offering innovative electronic services and digital tools to support collaboration, communication and education.
Services
Among the services it provides are:
- Connection to the University's internal network and the Internet (wired and wireless).
- Electronic mail.
- Telephone services.
- Internet services (installation and hosting of academic departmental and unit websites, access via virtual networks, provision of storage space, file sharing, etc.).
- Distance digital education and videoconferencing services.
- User support and problem solving.
