Frequently asked questions

  • Question 1: Can I connect to the University of Athens network with an ADSL connection?

Answer: The Center for Network Operations and Management (CLIDI) does not currently provide ADSL connections. If you have an ADSL connection from a commercial provider, you can connect to the University's network using the Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection service.

  • Question 2: What is the IP address of my computer?

Answer: To resolve network connection problems, it is useful to know the IP address of your computer. If the network is up and running, you can find it via checkip.noc.uoa.gr. Otherwise, you will have to find it from the computer's network settings.
